1-How is the admission of international students to your university? What are the entry requirements?
Applications from the Iskenderun Technical University International Student Unit on our website, from students who meet the conditions in the "International Student Admission Directive" are taken into consideration. Prospective students can apply online with their high school diplomas and graduation grades through our announcement on our website. Placements are made according to these notes; The results are announced on the website.
2-When does the application for international students to Iskenderun Technical University start?
The application date is announced in mid-June on our university's website (www.iste.edu.tr).
3-Is there a YÖS exam obligation in your university?
YÖS exams conducted by Universities in Turkey will make up 40% of your university entrance score.
4-Can I apply with the YÖS exam held by other Universities in Turkey?
YÖS exam is not held by our university yet. Only the YÖS exam conducted by Istanbul University is accepted within the scope of foreign student admission to our University.
5-What are the documents required during the application?
a) Original high school diploma.
b) Turkish translation of high school diploma.
c) Transcript
d) Turkish translation of transcript (Transcript)
e) High School Diploma Equivalency Certificate (Document obtained from the National Education Directorates)
f) If the original passport and its Turkish translation are not available, “Foreigner Identification Card”.
g) İÜYÖS certificate, if any.

7-What is your education-teaching language?
The language of education is Turkish.
8-How much is the annual tuition fee?

9-Is there any TÖMER in your university?
For our students who cannot read and write in Turkish, TÖMER center has been established and education has started. Students who get at least B2 level certificate from TÖMER can start their education.
10- Does Iskenderun Technical University provide support for international students' visa procedures?
After the placements, the International Student Office issues an acceptance letter and sends it to the address you specified in the application form. You are expected to obtain a student visa with a letter of acceptance.
11-Can international students benefit from the exchange program? Who can apply?

12- What is a Residence Permit? How to take.?
It is a document showing that you are legally residing in Turkey. All foreign students who will study in Turkey must obtain this document. The Residence Permit is obtained from the Provincial Police Department of the city where the student is studying. Application is made to the Provincial Police Department of the city where the education is received, within 1 month from the date of entry to Turkey, together with the student visa obtained from our overseas representations. If the Residence Permit is not obtained, penal applications are encountered. After registration, students start their residency procedures by applying to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management to obtain a "Foreign National Identity Number" together with their student documents. As the University, we conduct all kinds of inter-institutional meetings regarding this matter. We provide support.
13- What is General Health Insurance?
It is the insurance that enables foreign students to benefit from general health services in Turkey, just like Turkish citizens. As of this year, the obligation of General Health Insurance has been introduced. He/she can benefit from health services provided that he/she deposits a monthly fee of 55 TL. If this insurance is not made, "Private Health Insurance" can be made.
14-Can I work during my education in Turkey?
Non-Turkish citizens are not allowed to work in Turkey, even if they are students.
15-Are there any scholarship opportunities? How?
Scholarships are given under the name of “Turkey Scholarships” for foreign students by the Prime Ministry.
16-How long is the residence permit for TÖMER students?
A short-term residence permit is given for 1 year for TÖMER students.
