APPLICATION GUIDE
Scope of the Scholarship
Based on a comprehensive assessment process, the ESPS project is designed to support and provide financial assistance to students under temporary protection, students under international protection and citizens of the region to access higher education to ensure that they have the necessary skills to become self-sufficient and contribute to Türkiye's economic growth and development.
The information here summarizes the criteria and documents required for eligibility.
Scholarship Amount and Duration
Scholarship of 360 EUR per year at undergraduate level, tuition fees up to 500 EUR
Scholarship of 540 EUR per year at the graduate level, tuition fees up to 500 EUR
Scholarships and tuition fees will be awarded during the academic years 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25.
Who Can Apply?
Individuals eligible to apply include Turkish citizens, students under international protection or under temporary protection studying at undergraduate or graduate level in İstanbul, İzmir, Bursa, Ankara, Eskişehir, Karabük, Konya, Mersin, Adana, Kayseri, Samsun, Kahramanmaraş, Trabzon, Erzurum, Van, Malatya, Elazığ, Diyarbakır, Mardin, Şanlıurfa, Gaziantep, Kilis, Hatay;
Applicants must be enrolled at the Faculties of Engineering, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Business Administration, Design and Architecture, Science, Literature, Education, Law, Languages, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Medicine and Communication and related fields.
Application Requirements
Applicants are required to have a CGPA of 2.5 or above to be eligible for the scholarship. For students whose transcripts are graded on a 100-point scale, the YÖK conversion table will serve as the basis for evaluation.
The ranking of the applicants will take into consideration the socioeconomic status of those who meet the above criteria.
Application Procedure

Applications should be submitted through the dedicated web page.

After registering via the scholarship application module, the requested information will be filled online.

All supporting documents must be uploaded to the scholarship application module in PDF format during the application phase.

It is important to ensure the accuracy of all provided information, as incorrect information could lead to exclusion from the evaluation process.

Incomplete applications or submissions after the deadline will not be evaluated.

1. YKS Result (with the score the placement was made with) Certificate

CONTINUING STUDENTS (2nd, 3rd, and 4th year undergraduate students)
1. Transcript (from e-Government Gateway)
NEW REGISTRATION (Master's and Doctoral Students)
1. Graduation Certificate (for the last completed degree, from e-Government Gateway)
CONTINUING STUDENTS (Master's and Doctoral Students)
1. Transcript of the previous semester (from e-Government Gateway)
DOCUMENTS PROVING SOCIO-ECONOMIC STATUS
It is expected that these documents will be provided regardless of level of education and will be uploaded by candidates in the fields provided in the application form.
(Where it is not possible to provide the documents for students under temporary protection and international protection status, guidance is offered on the relevant sections. All candidates are advised to review the application form before starting the application process.)
1. Candidate's own Certificate of Residence from e-Government Gateway
2. Document showing the father's employment status (to be obtained from e-Government Gateway)
2.1. Tax Certificate for Self-Employment if self-employed
2.2. Last month's payroll for civil servants
2.3. Social Security Institution (SGK) premium and service breakdown for currently employed
2.4. Pension certificate if retired

3. Document showing the mother's employment status (to be obtained from e-Government Gateway)
3.1. Tax Certificate for Self-Employment if self-employed

4. Status of housing damage certificate from e-Government Gateway if applicant’s family residence is in earthquake zone
5. Copy of Identity Register from e-Government for Turkish Residents (Family Type)
6. Copy of Identity Register from for students under Temporary Protection and International Protection Status
7. Turkish Identity Card for Turkish Citizens, Temporary Protection Identity Document or International Protection Identity Document for foreign students
8. Student Certificate
9. Candidate’s own Social Security Institution (SGK) premium and service breakdown document from e-Government Gateway
10. If the candidate has a disability, bill of health from e-Government Gateway
11. Scholarship candidate's contribution/tuition fee receipt
12. Student certificate of the scholarship candidate's sibling(s) studying at the university (if available)
