İskenderun Technical University will admit international students to its associate and undergraduate degree programs based on the results of the Turkiye International Student Admission Exam (TR-YÖS) held in 2024 or 2025 by ÖSYM.

**If there are vacant quotas after the registration of main candidates, placements will be made based on the ranking of reserve candidates for the respective faculty/program.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS
Applicants who are either in the final year of high school or have graduated and who meet one of the following conditions are eligible:
- Foreign nationals,
- Those who were Turkish citizens by birth but have renounced Turkish citizenship with permission from the Ministry of Interior, and their minor children who are registered in the renunciation document (must submit a document regarding "Use of Rights Granted" under Law No. 5901),
- Those who acquired Turkish citizenship later, i.e., dual nationals,
- Turkish nationals who completed their entire high school education abroad (excluding TRNC) before 01.02.2013,
- Turkish nationals who started high school education abroad after 01.02.2013 and completed their full high school education abroad (excluding TRNC),
- TRNC nationals who reside in TRNC and have completed their high school education in TRNC and possess GCE AL exam results (or registered in overseas schools and completed education with GCE AL between 2005–2010),
Applicants who do not meet these criteria — including Turkish citizens who completed high school in Türkiye or TRNC, or applicants from embassy schools in Türkiye who are Turkish citizens or hold dual citizenship (with Türkiye as first nationality) — will not be accepted.
ONLINE APPLICATION
Documents to Upload:
- Passport-size photograph (JPEG format),
- Copy of passport or national ID (PDF),
- High school equivalency certificate (or diploma if equivalency not available yet) (PDF),
- TR-YÖS exam result document from 2024 or 2025.
Important Notes:
- Applicants must frequently check emails used in the application system.
- Those without passports may upload their national ID and mark the “I don't have a passport” option.
- Nationality information must be entered accurately for country quota considerations.
- Any misleading or fraudulent information will result in disqualification.
- Program preferences entered in the system will be considered binding preference order.
PREFERENCE & PLACEMENT
- Applicants must hold a valid TR-YÖS score from 2024 or 2025.
- High school diplomas must be recognized (equivalency required before course registration in Spring 2025-2026).
- Maximum of 5 preferences allowed.
- Scores must be entered on a 500-point scale.
- Scores below 200 will not be considered.
- Final placements will be determined by the International Student Selection and Placement Committee.
FINAL REGISTRATION
Candidates granted the right to enroll must complete registration in person or via notarized proxy during the specified final registration period.
Documents Required:
- Turkish proficiency certificate (minimum B2 level) from İSTE TÖMER or Yunus Emre Institute (if applicable),
- Original and Turkish-translated high school diploma approved by the Turkish Representative Office,
- Original equivalency certificate from the Turkish Ministry of Education or Turkish Representative Office,
- Official transcript and Turkish translation approved by the Turkish Representative Office,
- Passport copy and original (for review),
- Student visa,
- 4 recent photographs (4.5 x 6.0 cm),
- Valid TR-YÖS result document (2024 or 2025).
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
For candidates applying to the Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences or the Maritime Vocational School:
Aviation Programs (Avionics, Aviation Management, Aircraft Maintenance):
- Criminal Record Certificate indicating no barrier to airport entry,
- Health Report (within 6 months) from a full-fledged hospital confirming fitness to perform aviation duties.
Underwater Technology Program:
- Must provide a health report from a certified hyperbaric oxygen treatment center (with a diving medicine specialist) stating "fit to become a professional diver."

All applicants must bring one photocopy of each required document.
TUITION FEES
Fees for the 2025–2026 academic year will be determined by the university in accordance with the Presidential Decree on student contribution to higher education institutions. They are subject to change.
