Department of Interior Architecture
Interior Architecture is one of the design areas at the intersection of architectural science and fine arts.
Designers grown in this field work on developing user-oriented design ideas related to space, functional, form and detail analysis and visualization.
İskenderun Technical University (İSTE) Faculty of Architecture, Department of Interior Architecture will start education activities at the undergraduate level with 62 students in the 2020-2021 academic year.
Our new faculty building with a total area of 17 000 square meters since 2020 includes 18 classrooms and 12 drawing workshops, two printing workshops, two laboratories, two conference rooms and two cafeterias.
Our department will be able to reveal the original and new designs and Turkey will contribute to the competitiveness of industry in the global marketplace aims to train interior designers.
Interior Architecture Applications:
Graduates of the program can work in offices that develop interior architecture projects as well as establish their own offices.
They can work in areas such as design, product development, production, technology development in different companies operating in the building industry.
Graduates can take part in construction sites during the application phase of the designs.
Interior Architecture graduates can work in areas such as game design, stage design, furniture design thanks to the skills they make such as creative decision making, creating different atmospheres, taking responsibility, problem solving, and material knowledge.
In addition to these, they can work in organizations such as public institutions and banks, etc.
