The proposal to establish a State Conservatory within our university was discussed and accepted by the University Senate on 18.10.2005 and submitted to the approval of the Council of Higher Education. The proposal to establish our university was accepted at the Higher Education General Assembly meeting dated 16.12.2005 and Mustafa Yazıcı State Conservatory was established. Built by the philanthropic businessman Mustafa Yazıcı, it has a usage area of 10,000 (ten thousand) m².
As of the 2020/2021 academic year, Mustafa Yazıcı State Conservatory has a total of 14 academic staff, including 2 Associate Professor, 3 Doctoral Faculty Members, 6 Lecturers including 3 foreign national and 3 nontenured lecturers.

Our Conservatory Management has adopted the principle of participation, transparency, reliability, sensitivity to issues, supporting success, achieving success not individually but as a team, contributing to the institution, region, country and the whole humanity without discrimination.
In line with these principles, we have adopted the mission and vision we have undertaken, each year our activities have been more successful than the previous year. Every time and at the end of each academic year, self-criticism and our shortcomings, mistakes, things that we thought to do but could not do due to various reasons are passed through a sensitive filter, and the measures to be taken in the face of problems are evaluated and put into practice.
We have no doubt that our conservatory will make numerous contributions to the music culture of our country in line with its goals and works in the future.
To be able to prepare the modern labor force needed by the society in line with the principles of universal education and training by the Conservatory Administration to be among the prestigious educational institutions at national and international level; Cooperation with other public institutions and organizations around it, private organizations and the people of the region will be possible with the provision of the necessary material and moral resources and the academic and administrative staff to fulfil the tasks they need to do effectively in time.
