Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
Graduate Programs in the Department of Fisheries Engineering are planned, executed, and continuously developed in accordance with the quality assurance principles of the Higher Education Quality Council of Turkey (YÖKAK).
The quality assurance system of the program is based on an outcome-based and student-centered approach aimed at ensuring consistency among program objectives, program outcomes, educational processes, and assessment-evaluation practices.
In this context;
-
The achievement level of program outcomes is regularly monitored,
-
The relationship between course learning outcomes and program outcomes is periodically evaluated,
-
Feedback from students, graduates, and sectoral stakeholders is systematically collected and analyzed,
-
Course contents, teaching methodologies, and assessment-evaluation processes are updated in light of the findings obtained.
Quality assurance activities in the program are carried out within the framework of the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, thereby supporting the continuous improvement culture of the program.
The Graduate Programs of the Department of Fisheries Engineering are managed with a dynamic and sustainable understanding of quality in line with national and international scientific developments, current risks in the fisheries sector (global climate change, pollution of water resources, etc.), and stakeholder expectations.
