Hull Machinery Management Engineering Department was established in 2015, within Barbaros Hayrettin Naval Architecture and Maritime Faculty, Iskenderun Technical University.
Hull Machinery Management Engineering Department curriculum contains International Maritime Organization (IMO) STCW Convention A-III/1 and A-III/2 requirements and essential engineering courses . Graduates of the department will have the right to take the exam organized by Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey.
Barbaros Hayrettin Naval Architecture and Maritime Faculty, Iskenderun Technical University, in line with Turkey’s maritime interests and benefits, aims to be leading faculty in the field of training Hull Machinery Management Engineer for the merchant marine fleet with the philosophy of total quality, safety, security and environmental management.
