To educate engineers in the field of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering who keep abreast of scientific and technological developments, are capable of analyzing and solving engineering problems, possess a strong sense of professional and ethical responsibility, and are conscious of environmental protection and occupational safety; to conduct high-quality education, research, and development activities in the fields of ship design, construction, operation, maintenance and repair, and marine technologies; and to contribute to the development of the regional and national maritime industry through university–industry collaboration.
