What are the Career Opportunities for Medical Documentation and Secretarial Program Graduates?
Those who complete the 2-year program are awarded the Associate Degree diploma and the title of Health Technician (Medical Secretary) in accordance with the decision of the Council of Higher Education, dated 27.07.1992 and numbered 92.26.698.
Graduates of the program work in private and public healthcare institutions, medical units such as clinics, polyclinics, laboratories, operating rooms, emergency rooms, and administrative units such as patient admissions officers, patient advisors and archives. Working places; private and public hospitals, Health Directorate, Community Health Center, Oral and Dental Health Center, family medicine, pharmacy, dispensary, private practice, radiology center and health institutions such as laboratories, pharmaceutical warehouses, medical equipment companies, software companies.
Program graduates can be appointed to public health institutions by entering KPSS. In addition, the graduates of the program will have the opportunity to receive education at the undergraduate level and develop their careers by taking advantage of the vertical transfer right. With the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS), it is possible to transfer to Business, Business Management and Health Management undergraduate programs.
