THE MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAM: To train qualified professionals who have the knowledge of "Social Security", which is an application that provides social protection to individuals against social risks encountered in social life. In our program, students are trained with the aim of integrating personnel who will perform social security-related transactions in public as well as private enterprises in accordance with the legislation into the labor market.
AIM: Our program; Labor Law, Social Security Law, Human Resources Management and the necessary training on the rules of the functioning of working life as well as the basic norms of business ethics and ethics aims to become a program.
GRADE TO BE EARNED: Social Security Students who successfully complete all of the courses available in the program (equivalent to 120 ECTS) and obtain at least 2.25 out of 4.00 GPA are given an associate degree diploma in the field of Social Security and the title of Sosyal Social Security Professional Staff ".
ACCEPTANCE CONDITIONS: Turkey citizens, students, SOCIAL SECURITY PROGRAMS Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) made by Higher Education Institutions Examination (LDS) are acceptable according to the results. Admission requirements for foreign students can be examined on the websites of OSYM and our university.
UPGRADE: Graduates of the Social Security Program associate degree can continue their undergraduate education (4-year education) with “Social Services” department. They must enter the DGS for transition to this section. DGS (Vertical Transfer Exam) is an exam that can be taken by associate degree graduates and enables transfer to 4-year undergraduate programs. In order to enter DGS, it is necessary to graduate from a vocational school or open education associate degree program. If you are a senior and you have completed your internship, you can also enter the DGS. If you are a graduate of vocational school and want to settle in an open education undergraduate program in your department, you do not need to enter DGS. You have the right to transfer from your own field to open education undergraduate programs without examination.
GRADUATION CONDITIONS: To obtain their degree, a candidate should have taken and successfully completed all the mandatory as well as elective courses specified in their program of study, collected 120 ECTS, had 2.25 GPA (out of 4.00), and successfully completed their internship(s).
HISTORY: The Department of Property Protection and Security / Social Security Program started to recruit students in the 2019-2020 academic year with the quota of 40 students.

EXAMS, ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION: The exams of the program courses are given as 1 midterm and 1 final exam for each course. The effect of the midterm exams is 40% and the final exam is 60%.
PROGRAM PROFILE: The Social Security Program has been established to provide a high quality program for students to follow and learn the latest technologies and at the same time ensure their participation in applied and theoretical research. The associate degree program has been prepared in accordance with the common education strategy and practical understanding. Thus, new trends in technology can be easily adapted. The program primarily covers Social Security Practices, Labor Law Practices, Occupational Health and Safety and Insurance. For this reason, it is aimed to provide students with the skills of understanding different fields of Labor Law and Social Security, specialization in at least one specialization field of Labor Law and Social Security and participating in creative and unifying activities. The Social Security associate degree program (First Level in the Bologna Process Higher Education Qualifications Framework, 5th Level in TYYÇ) is an academic-weighted program that provides graduates with proficiency in professional application areas, research areas and undergraduate programs requiring advanced knowledge, skills and competence. RECOGNITION OF PRIOR EDUCATION: Recognition of previous formal learning in higher education institutions is carried out within the scope of the Regulation determined by Higher Education Council.

PLACE OF EDUCATION: Our school provides education in the campus in Dörtyol district of Hatay province. Our campus, which has an area of approximately 500 decares, is very convenient for students with its laboratory, library, social, sports and green areas.

VOCATIONAL EDUCATION IN BUSINESS (IME) PROGRAM: VOCATIONAL EDUCATION IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (IME) is a program that offers a full-time work experience in line with their vision and goals just before their graduation to successful students who are enrolled in undergraduate and associate degree programs, do not have any undergraduate courses, and prefer the Business World.
ISTE – IME has a unique characteristic with a different and unique structure than the universities that implement the long-term internship program in our country and in the world.
- Since all of their theoretical courses have been completed, we give the title of "Integrator" to students who prefer the IME program, who take their first steps into the profession and act as a bridge between the Business World and the University.
- IME grants both students and companies the right to choose within the scope of University - Industry Cooperation.
- It is not a compulsory application, it is in the elective course category.
ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES: There are dormitories for a total of 500 people, 250 boys and 250 girls, within walking distance (100 meters) in our campus.
TRANSPORTATION: There are frequent minibuses to the campus area. In addition, due to our proximity to firsts such as Adana and Osmaniye, there is no problem in transportation between cities. Iskenderun is about 30 minutes from Osmaniye and 60 minutes from Hatay and Adana.
JOB OPPORTUNITIES: On a public basis; They can be employed in the units affiliated to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Ministry of Family and Social Services, Social Security Institution (SGK), Labor and Employment Agency (İŞKUR) and other public institutions and organizations.

VERTICAL TRANSITION: Social Security Program associate degree graduates can continue their undergraduate education (4-year education) with the "Social Services" department. To pass this department, they must take the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
