Mission
The aim of the Department of Civil Engineering is to educate students towards the fundamentals of knowledge in order to follow the technological developments; to solve the regional and national problems; to internalize the importance of life-long learning; to be respectful towards the ethical and professional values and to raise useful engineers for their country and nation.
Vision
It is to be a respectable department that develops qualified and leading civil engineers needed in the fields of industry, service, and R&D.
History
Our department was founded in 1993 within Mustafa Kemal Üniversitesi. As of 2015, the department continues its operations as Civil Engineering Department of the Iskenderun Technical Universty. There are 7 Proffesor, 4 Associate Professors, 9 Assistant Professors and 3 Research Assistant in the department. Also 5 laboratories of the department are operated actively for applied laboratory classes and scientific research.
