The Iskenderun Technical University Central Library was established in 2016 to support the university's education, teaching, and research activities and began providing services. Until its own independent building was constructed, the library operated from the top floor of the Barbaros Hayrettin Shipbuilding and Maritime Faculty building.
In August 2019, the library moved to a new building covering 11,500 square meters. Following the relocation, it continues its services under the name "ISTE Library: Information Discovery Center".
In line with Iskenderun Technical University's education and teaching policies, it provides and continuously improves its information resources and services.
