Iskenderun Technical University (ISTE) Coordinatorship of Sponsored Projects was established within the ISTE Rectorate to provide effective and comprehensive services by coordinating the relevant units that are providing legal, technical and budget services to academic staff at different stages of the application and execution processes
Mission
- To encourage the regular and effective work of all units, commissions, boards, project groups and administrative staff involved in the projects carried out in the University and Coordinatorship of Sponsored Projects
- To ensure the coordination of the services that the project supervisors receive from the different units of the Coordinatorship of Sponsored Projects in the execution of the projects
- To announce project calls, to encourage their implementation and execution, to identify the difficulties encountered in these matters, to produce solutions
- To follow and report all kinds of project applications made or to be made by the university members, to follow the approval by the Rector or his deputy before the application.
- Coordinating the fulfillment of the necessary writing, consultancy and correction requests during the project preparation phase
- Providing training and consultancy on informing about national and international research funds and calls, access to funds, finding partners, project creation and development, preparation, budgeting, application and execution
- Making and coordinating the necessary correspondence with the relevant units and institutions/organizations in the acceptance and execution processes of the projects
- Providing training and consultancy on industrial projects, technology licensing and intellectual property rights
- To create databases on fields such as all applications made by university lecturers, accepted projects and received "Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights"
- To produce policies for increasing project application and acceptance rates within the university
- To follow the institutional share of the projects
