The Department of Aerospace Engineering is an undergraduate program that aims to train qualified engineers in the design, production, development, and improvement of manned and unmanned aerial vehicles used in civil and military aviation. The department provides students with comprehensive engineering knowledge in areas such as aerodynamics, structural analysis and design of aircraft, aircraft systems, avionic systems, aircraft engine design, rocket technology, atmospheric physics, flight dynamics, and control.
Graduates of the department can be employed in defense industry companies, aircraft and helicopter maintenance, repair, and design units, technical and maintenance units of military aviation, the rocket and satellite industry, and national and international organizations operating in the aviation and space sector.
