The Aerospace Engineering program aims to graduate qualified engineers in the design, production and development of all kinds of manned and unmanned aircraft used in civil and military aviation. In the department, expertise areas are aerodynamics, structural analysis and design of aircraft, aircraft systems, avionics, aircraft engine design, rocket technology, atmospheric physics, flight dynamics and control.
Graduates of the Aerospace Engineering can be employed in the areas such as defence industry companies, aircraft and helicopter maintenance and repair and design companies or in the military maintenance and repair centers, rocket and satellite industry, and all national and international organizations in the aviation and space industry.
Aerospace Engineering Department accepts students score in quantitative section. The department, whose language of instruction is Turkish, has opportunities for abroad education and internship (Erasmus +). The department, whose education is formal education, has a 4-year education period. Theoretical and applied trainings related to the department are given in Iskenderun Technical University central campus.
