Consultation Meeting
On February 13, 2024, Lecturers at the School of Foreign Languages gathered in the English Preparation Classrooms located in the University Library Building to evaluate the 2023-2024 Academic Year Fall Semester and coordinate the processes of the Foreign Language Exam for Exchange Programs, which will take place on February 20-21, 2024.
The meeting covered the following topics:
- Evaluation of the 2023-2024 Academic Year Fall Semester courses (discussing issues encountered in courses and proposing solutions).
- Opening an English course for the ÖSYM Foreign Language Exam (YDS) within the Continuous Education Center (CEC).
- Coordination of the Foreign Language Exam for Exchange Programs on February 20-21, 2024 (discussing the number of students taking the exam, the exam venue, and details of the written and oral exams).
- Discussion of the request from the University Rectorate regarding the translation of the University's website content into English (deciding to form translation teams consisting of School instructors and appointing a translation coordinator for this purpose).
- Deciding to hold another meeting on the same Friday of the week to discuss the new term's educational processes.
