Meeting Notes (Student Stakeholders Meeting 2023-2024 Academic Year Fall Semester)
Our School's administration met with students currently enrolled in the (English) Preparatory Class education through an online meeting on January 18, 2024.
During the meeting, students expressed that they have seen the positive benefits of regular participation in online educational activities but indicated a preference for face-to-face education. Our administration informed the students that -given the current circumstances of our University, online education activities would continue for the Spring Semester. However, they also conveyed the plan to reintroduce face-to-face education processes in the following Academic Year.
Students discussed the positive benefits of the online exercise software enabled by the education sets used in the Preparatory Program (English File). Some requests from students were directed towards the School administration. It was understood that these requests focused on the End-of-Year Exam for the Preparatory Class, which is planned to be held face-to-face. The students' requests centered around the possibility of conducting this exam online or making arrangements for accommodation (especially for students coming from distant cities).
Students were advised to carefully read the "ISKENDERUN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY FOREIGN LANGUAGES SCHOOL FOREIGN LANGUAGE EDUCATION AND EXAM REGULATION," where they can find detailed information about the education processes.
