Courtesy Visit to Rector Depci
Rector of İskenderun Technical University (ISTE), Prof. Dr. Tolga Depci, hosted Rector of Ankara University, Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar, Rector of Ankara Social Sciences University, Prof. Dr. Musa Kazım Arıcan, and Rector of Hacettepe University, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Cavit Güran. On Saturday, October 5th, ISTE Rector Prof. Dr. Tolga Depci and his distinguished guests, accompanied by İsmail Işık, President of the METU Eymir Cultural Foundation Permanent Structures, toured İskenderun Vocational School (İMYO), which was damaged in the February 6 earthquakes and is being rapidly rebuilt through collaborative efforts. The rectors inspected the İMYO buildings, which are set to be completed in time for the new academic year starting on October 14th, and received updates from Rector Depci regarding the reconstruction efforts and the progress made so far.
