Iskenderun Technical University (ISTE) Rector Prof. Dr. Tolga Depci hosted Iskenderun District Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek, who has been appointed as the Governor of Kırşehir by a presidential decree published in the Official Gazette. Iskenderun District Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek, appointed as Governor of Kırşehir by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, paid a farewell visit to Rector Depci on Monday, September 23. The visit, which took place in a friendly atmosphere at the ISTE Rectorate, concluded after District Governor Demiryürek signed the guestbook and took photos.
Expressing his satisfaction with District Governor Demiryürek's kind farewell visit, Rector Depci said, "Since the day he took office, especially from the first moment of the February 6 earthquakes, we have worked shoulder to shoulder, day and night, without leaving the region, and he has added great value to Iskenderun. I wholeheartedly congratulate Murat Sefa Demiryürek, who has been appointed as Governor of Kırşehir by our President, and wish him all the best in his new role."
District Governor Murat Sefa Demiryürek, who noted that he worked in cooperation with Rector Depci during his tenure, said, "I would like to thank Rector Depci and the ISTE family for their contributions to Iskenderun and the surrounding areas. I wish the Rector and his team continued success in their future endeavours".
