TEAM ISTE-ATMACA IS IN THE FINAL AT TECHNOFEST
The ISTE-Atmaca team, working under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muharrem Karaaslan, Head of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Iskenderun Technical University (ISTE), qualified for the finals in the Wireless Communication Competition category of 2024 TEKNOFEST.
The ISTE-Atmaca team, working under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Muharrem Karaaslan, Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at İskenderun Technical University (ISTE), has qualified for the finals in the 2024 TEKNOFEST Wireless Communication Competition. This competition, which was introduced for the first time this year, aims to develop solutions for communication-related challenges, enhance knowledge, and increase skilled human resources in the field. The ISTE-Atmaca team consists of ISTE Electrical and Electronics Engineering students Hüseyin Koca, Ali Büyüktepe, Furkan Başkır, Abdullah Yıldırım, Ayberk Sert, and ISTE Mechanical Engineering student Mustafa Toprakçı.
The project, which achieved significant success by qualifying for the finals, is entirely developed manually by the team. It involves the design of electronic circuits and the development of software for these circuits, with the primary goal of transferring a 1GB file between the circuits in the shortest possible time.
Expressing his gratitude to the ISTE-Atmaca team, which has achieved significant success by advancing to the finals of TEKNOFEST in a competition designed to encourage technological innovations in communication, accelerate scientific and technological developments, foster knowledge exchange by bringing together industry experts with young engineers and engineering candidates, and find solutions to various challenges, ISTE Rector Prof. Dr. Tolga Depci stated, "This achievement fills me with immense pride. Every day, similar successes achieved by the ISTE family signal even more accomplishments to come. As I always say, no success is a coincidence. Wherever there is teamwork, success is sure to follow. I once again congratulate the ISTE-Atmaca team and wish them the best in the finals."
