The project planned in cooperation with Iskenderun Technical University (ISTE), Dörtyol State Hospital and Dörtyol Kara Hasan Paşa Secondary School has started. The "Happy Children" social responsibility project, whose protocol was signed in March, was implemented at Dörtyol State Hospital. Within the scope of the project, which aims to facilitate the adaptation process of children to the hospital during outpatient and inpatient treatment, to ensure that the necessary measures are taken to ensure that their social development is not interrupted, and to ensure that the hospitalisation process is the least traumatic and most efficient for the child, patient and family, various cartoon characters were first painted on the outpatient clinic walls of Dörtyol State Hospital Pediatrics Department. After the completion of drawing and colouring activities, the project will move on to the next stage with various events. In the events stage, students from Dörtyol Health Services Vocational School, under the coordination of Instructor Burcu Güngör Önlen, the project's partner from ISTE, will take part.
In the Happy Children Project, led by Maksut Önlen and Figen Baysal from Dörtyol Kara Hasan Paşa Middle School, project partners Betül Baysal from Dörtyol State Hospital and Instructor Burcu Güngör Önlen from ISTE Dörtyol Health Services Vocational School are contributing.
ISTE Rector Prof. Dr. Tolga Depci expressed gratitude to everyone involved in this meaningful project, stating, "Every child is precious for every parent, and our common wish is for their health and happiness. In this project, which provides support to children and parents who have to pass through the hospital, the first stage has been successfully completed. I wish for the successful completion of the remaining stages as well.
