ANOTHER ACCEPTANCE FOR ISTE WITH A NEW 1001 PROJECT
A project led by Assist. Prof. Ayşegül Yücel, a faculty member of Iskenderun Vocational School, and supervised by the Rector of Iskenderun Technical University (ISTE), Prof. Dr. Tolga Depci, has been awarded support by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) through the 1001-Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program.
The project, which will be advised by Prof. Dr. Tolga Depci, Rector of Iskenderun Technical University (ISTE), and carried out by Assistant Prof. Ayşegül Yücel, one of the faculty members of Iskenderun Vocational School, was entitled to be supported by TUBITAK 1001-Scientific and Technological Research Projects Support Program. With the project titled "Investigating the Flament Production, Ion Sieve Design and Use for the Purpose of Lithium Recovery", which is advised by ISTE Rector Prof. Dr. Tolga Depci, Asst. Prof. Ayşegül Yücel and her team will produce lithium ion sieves that can be used in lithium recovery with 3D printing technology in accordance with the supply and will also play an important role in the development of column technology.
Under the supervision of ISTE Rector Prof. Dr. Tolga Depci, Assist. Prof. Ayşegül Yücel, the project leader within the scope of this 1001 Project, will be accompanied by Assist. Prof. Alper Solmaz, Instructor Dr. Zeynel Abidin Sarı, and Instructor Mesut Karta from ISTE. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Musa Sarıkaya from İnönü University will be involved in the project as a stakeholder.
