Iftar Time for ISTE
The Iskenderun Technical University (ISTE) members of staff got together for iftar dinner.
Iskenderun Technical University (ISTE) organized an iftar dinner. The dinner was hosted by ISTE Rector Prof. Dr. Tolga Depci and his spouse, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aytemis Depci. Ahmet Çelikkol (the Chief Prosecutor of the Republic for Hatay Province) and his spouse, ISTE Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Meltem Eken, Professor Doctor Murat Örnek, Professor Doctor Suha Orçun Mert and academic and administrative staff attended the event which took place at ISTE's main dining hall on Thursday, March 21. The ISTE Family was happy to gather and share this event. A Quran recitation was performed prior to the iftar.
Members of staff at ISTE attended the iftar dinner hosted by ISTE Rector Prof. Dr. Tolga Depci. The Rector warmly welcomed university staff and their families, and expressed his appreciation and happiness in getting together to share a meal during the holy month of Ramadan. He continued by saying, "May God accept your fasting. I am honoured to be part of this beautiful family. Here at ISTE, where the spirit of unity and solidarity is rising, we see the positive results of our efforts and will continue to achieve more in the future".
