ISTE RECEIVES EUROPEAN SOLIDARITY PROGRAMME QUALITY CERTIFICATE
Iskenderun Technical University's (ISTE) project application for the role of ‘Supporting’ institution within the scope of the European Solidarity Programme (ESC50) Quality Certificate was found successful.
The project application submitted by İskenderun Technical University (ISTE) for the "Supporting" institution role within the scope of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC50) Quality Certificate has been approved. The evaluation process for the Quality Certificate (ESC50) applications submitted in the 2021 call for proposals and the Quality Certificate (ESC50-QLA) applications submitted in the 2022 call for proposals within the framework of the European Solidarity Corps has been completed by the Turkish National Agency, and the successful projects have been announced. According to the announced results, ISTE has been recognized as one of the 21 institutions and organizations eligible for the European Solidarity Corps Quality Certificate (ESC50) under the 2021 call for proposals.
ISTE Rector Prof. Dr. Tolga Depci, in his remarks on the successful project, congratulated those involved and stated: "We have been recognized as a 'supporting' institution in the European Solidarity Corps, one of the European Union initiatives that promotes the personal, educational, social, civic, and professional development of young people. I am pleased to share this development, which will create opportunities for our students to volunteer, work, or engage in networking activities in projects that benefit society, either in their own country or abroad. We will continue to work towards increasing the number of initiatives that will open new horizons for the İSTE family. I hope that many will benefit from this project."
